Meltio offers its professional services worldwide through its main website accessible here, which, as well as Meltio itself, are valid and constituted under Spanish and, in all relevant matters, EU law.
From whom do we obtain personal data?
The personal data processed through https://meltio3d.com/ or any of its dependent domains (hereinafter, the “Websites”), are provided directly by the user through the forms provided for this purpose or through the communication channels detailed in each of the sections of the site.
The user guarantees that the data provided is true, accurate, complete and that the information provided is kept suitably updated so that it corresponds to the user’s real situation.
In the event that the user provides data of third parties, he/she declares that he/she has a legitimate reason for doing so and undertakes to provide them with the information contained in this privacy policy, exempting Meltio, its offices and associated firms from any liability in this regard.
However, Meltio may carry out checks to verify this fact, adopting the appropriate due diligence measures, in accordance with data protection regulations.
The data on the forms provided on the Websites that are marked with an asterisk
(*) are necessary to carry out the purpose for which the data are collected. If the user does not provide them, it shall not be possible to carry out the processing (e.g. formalization of orders, purchase of goods and/or services, customer service, provision of support services or technical assistance to the user, etc.).
What categories of data do we process?
In accordance with the different purposes and the processing carried out from the Websites and the contact channels specified therein, Meltio shall process the following categories of personal data:
1. Identification and contact details: name and surname, e-mail address, postal address and telephone number.
2. Employment details: professional category, job position, company where you provide your services and corporate contact details.
3. Academic and professional data: in those cases in which you send us your CV or you are interested in any of the selection processes carried out by the different offices or associated firms, data relating to training/qualifications, student record, professional experience, membership of professional associations, in the case of selection processes, may be processed.
4. Financial data: bank account numbers or similar for the invoicing of goods and/or services.
5. Data used for profiling: information relating to the use of the Websites, subscription to the Meltio newsletter, registration via the Websites for events or requests for information on services or participation in quality surveys.
6. Browsing data: IP, advertising ID, your behavior on the Websites.
7. Other data provided directly by the user in communications through the channels provided for this purpose.
For what purposes will we process your personal data?
Meltio will process the data provided by the user for the following purposes:
1. To manage and attend to the contact requests made by the user, either through the forms provided for this purpose on the Websites, corporate email addresses or other forms of contact indicated.
2. Manage the subscription to the newsletter through Meltio’s Websites, as well as periodically send electronic commercial communications about services, events and news related to the professional activity of its different offices and associated firms, unless otherwise indicated or the user opposes or revokes their consent.
3. To periodically send commercial and/or promotional information related to the contracted services sector and of added value for end users, by electronic and/or conventional means, unless otherwise indicated or unless the user opposes or revokes their consent.
4. Manage their registration and attendance at events organized by Meltio.
5. In the event that the user sends his/her CV or registers in the different job offers of the different offices and associated firms published on the Websites, through the means indicated for this purpose, to assess and manage his/her job application and, where appropriate, to carry out the necessary actions for the selection and recruitment of personnel, in order to offer him/her positions that fit his/her profile.
6. To produce anonymous statistical reports regarding access habits, preferences and user behavior on the Websites.
7. To create a commercial profile based on the information provided by the user to Meltio in order to send personalized commercial communications about the services offered by Meltio. The user may object at any time free of charge to their data being processed for this purpose by Meltio and to carry out commercial actions.
To do so, it will be sufficient to exercise your right of opposition as provided below. If you do not provide such relevant data, you are informed that Meltio may not provide you with detailed commercial information that fits your profile and/or preferences. Likewise, you may object free of charge by clicking on the check boxes provided for this purpose at the time of receiving commercial communications.
8. To carry out quality and satisfaction surveys regarding the quality and satisfaction with the services provided by Meltio, as well as to carry out analysis of the reports and statistics obtained from the responses.
9. To comply with legally established obligations, as well as to verify compliance with contractual obligations, including the prevention of fraud.
10. Execution of contracts, services and, in general, the commercial relationship between you and Meltio in all matters relating to the acquisition of goods and/or services from Meltio by you, their delivery, support, training, as well as the associated invoicing tasks.
On what basis will we process your personal data?
Meltio processes user data in accordance with the following legitimate bases:
1. Consent: To manage and deal with contact requests made by the user. Such consent may be withdraw by the user at no cost at any time. In the event that the user withdraws consent, the query or question raised cannot be processed.
2. In order to comply/perform and agreement in which you are a party: To manage and execute the business relationship with you. In particular, the processing is necessary for the execution of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject.
3. Legitimate interest / consent: Manage the subscription to the newsletter through the Meltio Websites, as well as periodically send electronic commercial communications: the processing of your data for marketing purposes, relating to its services and/or goods for its customers, will be based on legitimate interest based on the exception provided for in article 21.2 of the Information Society Services Act and the provisions of recital 47 of the General Data Protection Regulation. In the case of legitimate interest, it is based on the performance of direct marketing in order to offer the user products and services that may be of interest to him/her and thus gain his/her loyalty. However, the user has the right to object to this processing at the time he/she provides his/her data and at any time thereafter.

4. Applicable regulations: If applicable in any case, to comply with Meltio’s legal obligations.
5. Consent: When the user is not previously provided with services by Meltio and there is no prior contractual or pre-contractual relationship. Such consent may be withdrawn at any time at no cost by the user.
6. Consent: Manage your registration and attendance at events organized by Meltio. The consent that the user may withdraw at any time.
7. Consent pre contractual measures: In the event that the user sends his/her CV or registers for the different offers: if the application is spontaneous, his/her data shall be processed on the basis of consent and, if he/she applies for a specific offer, on the basis of the application of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject.
8. Legitimate interest: To carry out anonymous statistical reports on the access habits, preferences and behavior of users on the Websites. All processing derived from this purpose will be based on the legitimate interest, recognized to the data controller by the data protection regulations. This legitimate interest is based on being able to offer users Meltio’s services with the highest quality and best possible experience.
9. To draw up a commercial profile: the processing derived from this purpose is legitimized in the legitimate interest based on the information provided by the user himself and the information relating to his activity on the Websites, in order to send personalized commercial communications, based on the user’s tastes and preferences. However, the user has the right to object to this processing at any time.
10. To carry out quality and satisfaction surveys regarding quality and satisfaction: the processing derived from this purpose shall be based on the
legitimate interest, recognized to the data controller by the data protection regulations.
This legitimate interest is based on being able to offer users Meltio’s services with the highest quality and best possible experience. The information obtained will be deleted once the corresponding statistical report has been drawn up, which in no case will contain personal data. However, the user has the right to object to this processing at any time. The consents obtained for the aforementioned purposes are independent, so the user may revoke only one of them without affecting the others.
How long do we process your data?
The user’s personal data will be kept by Meltio for the following periods:
1. To manage and attend to the contact requests made by the user: the data shall be kept for the period necessary to process and reply to the request and, once this period is over, the data will be blocked for the period of limitation of the legal actions derived from the aforementioned request.
2. Manage the subscription to the newsletter through the Meltio Websites, as well as periodically send electronic commercial communications: the data shall be processed until the user opposes the sending of these or revokes their consent.
3. To manage your registration and attendance at events organized by Meltio: the data shall be kept for the period necessary to manage the event and, once the event is over, it will be kept blocked for the period of limitation of the legal actions derived from the aforementioned request.
4. In the event that the user sends his/her CV or registers for the different offers: if the application is spontaneous, his/her data will be processed for a period of one year and, if he/she applies for a specific offer, until the end of the selection process.
5. To make anonymous statistical reports on the access habits, preferences and behavior of users on the Websites: the information will be used in aggregate form for the preparation of reports, statistics and analyses, for the period necessary to process and prepare the aforementioned reports, statistics and/or analyses, and, once this period is over, the information will be kept blocked for the period of limitation of the legal actions derived from the aforementioned request.
6. To draw up a commercial profile: the data shall be processed in accordance with this purpose until the user objects to the processing and, in no case, for a period of more than one (1) year.
7. To carry out quality and satisfaction surveys relating to quality and satisfaction: the data provided for this purpose shall be kept for the duration of the surveys and, once the survey has ended, they will be kept blocked for the period of limitation of the legal actions that may arise from the same.
8. To comply with the legally established obligations: the data provided to comply with the obligations arising from the services offered by Meltio shall be kept for the legally established periods.
9. The management of the commercial relationship or execution of contracts with you. In this case, the data shall be processed for the duration of the contract or that there are services to be carried out by you or Meltio and, once completed, shall be kept properly blocked for the applicable statute of limitations.
To which recipients will your data be communicated?
Meltio informs the user that your data may be communicated to other offices and/or companies or entities in those cases in which you register for events organized by Meltio, as well as to other business partners, suppliers or third parties involved in the organization of such an event or, if necessary for the execution of a contract or the provision of a service to you, In addition, we inform you that certain data, within the framework of the regulations in force or of the contractual relationship you maintain, may be communicated to:
● Public Administrations, in the cases provided for by law, based on compliance with a legal obligation.
● Courts in the cases foreseen in the law, based on compliance with a legal obligation.
● State Security Forces and Corps, in the cases foreseen in the law, based on the fulfilment of a legal obligation.
● Banks and financial institutions for the collection of the services provided by Meltio or the aforementioned third parties to their clients.
● Other professionals in the legal field, when such communication is required by law, or for the execution of the contracted services, as well as to any other Meltio service providers such as, for example, the person responsible for hosting the server, management, tax advisors, etc. In addition, Meltio shall collaborate with third parties service providers who may have access to your personal data, who shall process user data on behalf of and for the account of Meltio, in order to provide services. Meltio follows rigorous supplier selection procedures in order to comply with its data protection obligations, including entering into the relevant data processing contract in accordance with art. 28 of the GDPR.
Where are personal data processed?
Due to Meltio’s own structure, the personal data provided by the user may be processed outside the European Economic Area, in response to the requests made, the contractual relationship, participation in selection processes or registration for events organized by these offices, as well as in the provision of goods and services by Meltio.
Meltio has adopted the necessary legal, technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data it provides, guaranteeing the standards set out in the different regulations, by subscribing to the corresponding Standard Contractual Clauses, in accordance with the European Commission Decision 2021/914, regarding the new set of standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
In those cases where Meltio has service providers for the maintenance of the Website that are outside the European Union, these international transfers are regularized by signing the aforementioned Standard Contractual Clauses, in accordance with Meltio’s commitment to the protection, integrity and security of users’ personal data, in accordance with the established legal requirements. Likewise, and in any case, you acknowledge that you have been informed of this and give your consent in this regard, which can be declined by exercising your right of opposition as follows.
What security measures are taken to protect personal data?
Based on Meltio’s commitment to the protection of personal data and the privacy of users, the necessary security measures have been adopted to prevent their loss, manipulation, dissemination or alteration.
● Encryption of communications between the user’s device and Meltio’s servers.
● Encryption of information on Meltio’s own servers.
● Other measures to prevent access to user data by third parties.
In particular, https://meltio3d.com has SSL TLS v.1.2 encryption that allows the secure sending of personal data through standard contact forms.
What rights does the data subject have?
The user, by writing to Meltio at Polígono Industrial “Los Rubiales”, C/ 3,Warehouses 7 – 12, 23700, Linares, Jaén, via the e-mail address [email protected], at any time and free of charge, may exercise the following rights:
a) Right of Access:
You shall have the right to be informed by Meltio whether or not it is processing your personal data and, if so, to be able to access such data and receive information on the purposes for which they are processed, the categories of data affected by the processing, the recipients to whom your personal data were communicated and the expected period of data retention, among other information.
b) Right of rectification and erasure:
You shall have the right to request the deletion of personal data provided that the legal requirements are met, and the rectification of inaccurate data concerning you when, among other reasons, they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
(c) Restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent and total or partial objection to processing:
In certain circumstances (e.g. in case the applicant contests the accuracy of his or her data, while the accuracy of the data is being verified), you may request that the processing of your personal data be restricted and processed only for the exercise or defense of claims.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent and to object to the processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, if the processing is based on our legitimate interest or on the legitimate interest of a third party (including processing for the purpose of direct marketing and profiling). In this case, Meltio shall cease processing, unless legitimate reasons are demonstrated.
d) Portability of your data:
You shall have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to Meltio in a structured, common and machine-readable format, and to be able to transmit them to another data controller without being prevented from doing so by the controller to whom you have provided them, in the cases legally provided for this purpose.
e) Automated individual decisions:
Likewise, in addition to the aforementioned rights, in the event that automated decisions are taken, including profiling, you shall have the right to obtain human intervention by Meltio and to express your point of view and challenge the decision.
f) Others:
Similarly, where personal data is transferred to a third country or an international organization, you shall have the right to be informed about how you can access or obtain copies of appropriate safeguards relating to the transfer. Likewise, you may lodge a complaint regarding the protection of your personal data with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 – Madrid, when the data subject considers that Meltio has infringed the rights recognized by the applicable data protection regulations.
g) Exercise of rights before offices and associated firms as independent Data Controllers: In those cases in which the user wishes to exercise the aforementioned rights in relation to the data that are processed directly by the associated offices and firms, the user may exercise his or her rights in relation to the data that are processed directly by the associated offices and firms as independent Data Controllers.
Changes to the privacy policy In order to ensure that the data protection guidelines always comply with current legal requirements, Meltio reserves the right to make the necessary changes to meet current legislation.
