Meltio was established in 2019 in Linares, Spain, with a clear purpose: to make metal 3D printing accessible, reliable, and ready for the real world of industrial manufacturing.
The current portfolio of metal solutions includes the industrial Meltio M600 metal 3D printer, the Meltio Engine CNC Integration, which turns virtually any CNC machine into a powerful hybrid manufacturing center, the Meltio Engine Robot Integration, which is the perfect platform for large and complex 3D printing, repair, cladding, and feature addition, and the Meltio Robot Cell, an affordable turn-key solution for the Meltio Engine Robot Integration.
The company’s latest product launch, Meltio M600, is designed to solve problems of long lead times, costly stock-keeping, and increasingly fragile supply chains, thanks to its unique metal 3D printing technology. This new system increases productivity and reduces manufacturing costs, brings new materials to the table, and most importantly is ready to perform 24/7 with minimal operator interaction for autonomous production.
All of the systems share the same patented LMD-based (a type of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) process) process capable of manufacturing parts using commodity welding wire.
From day one, Meltio has charted its own course: building proprietary wire-laser metal deposition (LMD) technology from the ground up and growing into a globally recognized leader in Directed Energy Deposition (DED) solutions. What began as a bold idea in southern Spain has evolved into a company with customers, partners, and installations across multiple continents.
Our technology
At the heart of everything Meltio does is its patented LMD-based process, a type of Directed Energy Deposition that uses affordable commodity welding wire as feedstock. This approach removes the barriers that have historically kept metal 3D printing out of reach: high costs, complex infrastructure, and steep learning curves.

Meltio operates a formal Quality Management System verified by SGS under the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards. This certification guarantees full traceability across our entire production cycle.
