At Meltio, we are looking for a Support & Sales Engineer to join our growing sales team!
We are a young, yet rapidly growing company, aiming to take metal 3D printing to the next level by developing high-performance, affordable, and easy-to-use metal 3D printing solutions.

Main responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to U.S. customers via phone, email, and the customer portal.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Meltio’s metal 3D printing systems and software.
- Conduct on-site visits to resolve complex technical issues (up to 15 days/month of travel).
- Assist reseller networks in integrating Meltio systems into third-party solutions.
- Assess the feasibility of printing customer parts based on geometry, material properties, and design guidelines.
- Modify and optimize 3D geometries using parametric CAD software.
- Provide Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) support to help customers adapt their parts for metal AM processes.
- Work closely with the Applications Engineering team to document best practices and industry-specific applications.
- Become a subject matter expert in key industries and applications for Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) technology.
- Provide technical sales support by assisting in customer meetings, presentations, and training sessions.
- Develop technical documentation, white papers, and case studies.
- Conduct market research to identify high-value applications and industries for Meltio technology.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, support cases, and machine performance.
- Ensure technical documentation is up to date, including installation protocols and maintenance procedures.
- Provide feedback to R&D and engineering teams to continuously improve hardware and software solutions.
You will be a great fit for the Meltio team if you are/have:
- Hold a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related fields).
- Have 2+ years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or maintenance.
- Possess strong knowledge of metal additive manufacturing and traditional manufacturing processes.
- Are proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, etc.).
- Enjoy problem-solving and thinking creatively about technical challenges.
- Are a U.S. citizen and have high-level English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Have excellent technical communication skills and can explain complex concepts clearly.
- Have experience in on-site technical support and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with robotics and CNC systems.
- Hands-on experience with metal AM processes (LMD, DED, LPBF).
