At Meltio, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team!

We are a young, yet rapidly growing company, aiming to take metal 3D printing to the next level by developing high-performance, affordable, and easy-to-use metal 3D printing solutions.

What are we looking for?

The Business Development Representative role is critical to the success of the sales organization. This is an exciting role for technical folks looking to gain entry into the world of sales. It provides a great way to join a fast-paced company and is the foundation to ensure a healthy sales pipeline to support the growth strategy.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, a good team player, obsessed about understanding our customer pain-points and uncovering new sales opportunities.

Our global sales strategy has to translate impeccably to a local one to support our ecosystem of sales partners and integrators. We place great emphasis on education, solution selling and quality over quantity when it comes to sales development.

The Business Development person will manage the business opportunities coming from the EMEA area, working with the EMEA Channel Manager and reporting results globally to the sales team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Help build team and organizational culture of success, enthusiasm, purpose and fun
  • Building out a comprehensive & repeatable inbound/outbound sales motion
  • Working on contacts and leads in the EMEA region
  • Manage and maintain accurate prospect and customer account activity in CRM for EMEA leads.
  • Use of the CRM to internal sales teams and channel partners in EMEA
  • Call and email into targeted accounts, lists or personal researched contacts.
  • Working together with the area Channel Manager on lead follow-ups and customer satisfaction
  • Further develop and optimize sales scripts.
  • Build a database of sales tools, marketing assets and sales training.
  • Build a network of prospective clients through the use of databases and tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize demand generation campaigns.
  • Work cross functionally with marketing to drive new qualified appointments.
  • Represent Meltio effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Degree in engineering or business
  • 3+ years of professional experience or training in inside sales environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to understand and analyze customer requirements
  • Passion for industry, technology and how things are made
  • Have excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Function in a team atmosphere and appreciate aggressive goals
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and databases
  • Self-starter, able to build rapport and credibility quickly
